Thirty One To One

Since its admission as the 31st state of the United States of America on September 9th, 1850 California has been the subject of over 225 movements to either divide it into separate states or become a country of its own. Obviously not one was successful... yet.

Thirty One To One shows the legitimacy of the reasons behind the current largest movement for California independence. We want to help share information to a public whom might not otherwise have thought twice about one of the 50 states leaving our union.

While this movement has overcome obstacles already, the organizers still have a long journey ahead.

This is their story.

California Independence Could Very Well Happen

California's economy has surpassed that of the United Kingdom to become the world's fifth largest, according to new federal data made public in 2018. California's gross domestic product rose by $127 billion from 2016 to 2017, surpassing $2.7 trillion. - CBS News

California produces the biggest percentage of America's produce. California leads the nation in energy, technology, and entertainment. If California were to strike out on its own California would see more upside than downside. While the rest of America would deal with price surges in fruits and vegetables, California would likely see an economic boom. -

California is the third largest state in land mass in the US, sizing in at 163,696.32 square miles.

Were it not for California, Trump would have won the popular vote by almost 1.5 million. Most importantly, without the California Congressional caucus in Washington, the Republican edge in the House of Representatives almost doubles.

Democrats would lose two Senates seats too, which isn’t as significant, but if Red California stays with the union, that would be a four-seat swing.

Knowledge Is Power

Our mission is to provide the people of California, as well as America itself,  and the entire world with insight on a possible California secession from the United States.

We value the power that is knowledge, and strive to show only factual informations from an unbiased point of view solely for the purpose of  educating people whom may not know otherwise, yet are subject to the effects of one of the biggest political and economic transitions of our lifetime.

Though this idea is not realized as a current fact... it is quite possible that we will see this happen, and sooner than you might think.
